LED wall washers, as the name suggests, let the light wash the wall like water, it is mainly used for architectural decorative lighting, and it is also used to outline the outline of large buildings. Because LED has the characteristics of energy saving, high luminous efficiency, rich color and long life, the wall washer of other light sources was gradually replaced by LED wall washer in 2013.

Because of its elongated shape, it is also called LED line light, and its technical parameters are generally similar to LED flood light. It solves the problem of balancing the pressure difference inside and outside the lamp and waterproofing, and the heat dissipation device of the strip structure is easier to handle.

Wrong practice of LED wall washer

The power module of the LED wall washer is installed inside the housing, and the space is limited. In order to save space, some manufacturers solder the surface of the pin-type components on the PCB, which is unacceptable.

These surface-soldered pin-type components are likely to fall off due to virtual soldering and other reasons, causing danger. Therefore, the socket welding method should be adopted as far as possible for these components. If surface welding is unavoidable, additional protection should be provided for this component by adding glue to fix it.

The difference between LED wall washer and guardrail tube

LED wall washer and guardrail tube have many similarities, let us introduce its parameters:

Power: The power of the wall washer determines the distance of its projection. Generally, there are 18W, 24W, 36W, 48W and other parameters. But the power is not fixed. The power can be flexibly changed according to the requirements. Generally, the high-power LED wall washer refers to a single row, and the multi-row is called a linear LED flood light. Installation steps of led wall washer

1.First, solder the led lamp beads on the aluminum substrate with a soldering iron and a tin bar for use.

2.Then try to brighten the welded board, check to see if there is any virtual soldering or no light.

3.After the test lighting is completed, put heat dissipation silicone glue on the back of the aluminum substrate, put the board into the casing, and proceed to the next operation.

4.The preparation process is done. Weld the power supply to the positive and negative poles of the aluminum substrate, and then bind the two ends with tape for glue filling.

5.The glue-filled wall washer must be placed evenly and flat, and cannot be placed crooked or slanted.

6.The tape can be removed the next day or in the afternoon after the glue is poured, the glass can be installed with glue, and then the two plugs of the wall washer can be installed.

7.After the wall washer is installed, connect it. The outlet interface is male and female, which is convenient for installation.

8.The finished lamp can be used after the production is completed.
